Workers customarily commute to their jobs due to good highway access.
 
The workforce area for the town covers Weld and Larimer Counties. Several higher education institutions are embedded throughout the area. The population centers of Eaton, Greeley, Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor and Cheyenne provide a well educated workforce to the business community.
 
 
Workforce Development
Colorado FIRST is a statewide job-training program that provides funding to companies relocating or expanding in Colorado.

Elementary and Secondary Education
Eaton School District Re-2 has excellent academic programs, new and well-maintained facilities, as well as competitive regional sports programs.

The Town of Eaton offers performance based incentives on a case by case basis. Some criteria used to determine incentives may include:

>      Average wage equal to or above the county average
>      Revenue generated for the town
>      Sustainability of the business

>    Construction Use Tax Rebates
